JOB 200 · OFF THE CUT LIST

Bigger than a board.

The cut list covers the pieces we make again and again. It does not cover an arcade down one side of a hall, a carved screen wall, a stage with steps, or a run of units built to a room. Those are drawn to your measurements and cut from the same sheet on the same machine.

How a bespoke job runs

STEP 01

Measure

Send the wall, the ceiling height and any doors or sockets in the way. A photo with a tape in it beats a description.

STEP 02

Drawn

You get a drawing with real sizes on it, and a price against it, before anything is cut.

STEP 03

Cut and fitted

Nested, machined and finished in the unit. Big runs are built in sections that go through a normal doorway.

STEP 04

Collect or delivered

Lead time is quoted with the job, not off a standard list. Bigger work takes longer than ten days.

The ten working days on the cut list is for pieces we already have the cutting file for. A bespoke job is quoted with its own date, because the drawing has to be right before the machine starts.
03

The brief the workshop wants

Real numbers get a real price

On the working prototype, choosing what you are building and typing a wall width assembles this docket as you go, then sends it to the workshop on WhatsApp with the millimetres already in it.

A brief with real numbers on it gets a price back the same week. A DM that says "how much for an arch" does not.

See the message it sends

Opens WhatsApp with the brief already written. The number is a placeholder until Jay gives us his.

Why this page exists

The catalogue had nowhere to put it.

Thirty six fixed products, and no route for an arcade. So the biggest work the workshop does arrives as a DM, or does not arrive at all.
